Host a live online quiz for up to 1,000 players
Players join from wherever they are with a link or a six-character code. Every question and every answer is on their own phone, so nobody has to be in the same room, or on the same call.
How an online quiz works
Upload your questions as a spreadsheet, open a room and share the link. People tap it and they are in: no app to download, no account to make. You run the night from your phone - next question, lock, reveal, leaderboard - and scoring is automatic.
Every answer is timed by the server the moment it lands, so a slow connection never costs anyone points and nobody can argue about who was first.
On a stream or a video call
JoltQuiz has a big-screen view made for an audience: round titles, the question, who has answered, the answer spread when you reveal, and a leaderboard that builds up to the top three. Share it on your call, or capture it in your streaming software, and your viewers play along on their phones.
You, live on camera
Host on camera on every player's phone and on the big screen, less than a second behind. The camera runs on your own free Cloudflare account and takes a few minutes to set up; the steps are in your account under Website & camera.
Built to scale
Quiz Master takes up to 1,000 players in one quiz. It counts phones, not teams: a team of four on four phones is four. Standard takes 75 and your free quiz 20.
Players chat between questions and you can join in. Chat pauses while a question is open, links are blocked, swearing is masked, and you can delete a message or mute a player.
On your own website
One line of code puts your quiz on your own site: a card with your next quiz and a Join button in your colours, fonts and logo, and a big-screen player that shows the quiz live on your page the moment the doors open. See the website card guide.
What it costs
Your first quiz is free, for up to 20 players, with no card needed. After that, Standard is £22.99 a month for up to 75 players a quiz, and Quiz Master is £49.99 a month for up to 1,000. Both are monthly and you can cancel any time.
