A work Christmas quiz everyone can play, wherever they are
The office party, the remote team, or both at once. Everyone answers on their own phone, so it plays the same in the meeting room and on the video call, and nobody has to mark a thing.
Office, remote or both
Send the link in your team chat, or show the QR code on the screen in the room. People tap it and they are in: no app to install on a work phone, no accounts. A team shares a four-letter code, so colleagues can play as one team from different desks, floors or cities.
Share the big-screen view on your video call or the meeting-room TV, and everyone watches the round titles, the answers and the leaderboard build up to the top three.
Christmas rounds that work
- Picture round: a still from a Christmas film - name the film.
- Emoji round: 🏠👦 is Home Alone, 🧝 is Elf.
- Christmas number ones: put four in order by year.
- Closest wins: a numbers question where the nearest guess takes it - the fairest tie-break there is.
- The office round: questions about your own team and your year. Nobody can look those up.
JoltQuiz has eight question types, so each of those is a round on everyone's phone, not a paper handout.
Christmas on the big screen
Pick the Christmas theme and the whole quiz dresses for the season, on the big screen and on every phone. On a paid plan you can add your company's colours and logo as well.
Eighteen mini games break up the rounds: Ten Seconds, Green Light, Hold Your Nerve, Pass the Bomb, Tug of War, Buzzers, Bullseye, Colour Clash, Quick Maths, Tap Frenzy, Higher or Lower, Word Scramble, Emoji Decode, Memory Match, Closest Wins, Rock Paper Scissors, Spot the Ball and Doodle Duel. Drop one in when the energy dips.
Questions without the homework
Write the quiz as a spreadsheet, or paste the prompt from the CSV guide into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and have it write one in the right format. Check the answers, upload it, and the importer tells you in plain English if any row needs fixing.
The whole company in one quiz
Quiz Master takes up to 1,000 players in a single quiz, so the whole company can play at once, and a password on the room keeps it to your people. Standard takes 75, and your first quiz is free for up to 20.
What it costs
Your first quiz is free, for up to 20 players, with no card needed. After that, Standard is £22.99 a month for up to 75 players a quiz, and Quiz Master is £49.99 a month for up to 1,000. Both are monthly and you can cancel any time.
