How to run a games night
A games night is a room with a join code and no quiz. You pick the games as you go from a board of big tiles - Bingo and all 18 mini-games.
Open the room
- Sign in at joltquiz.com and press Run a games night on Home.
- Press Open a games night. You get a join code and a QR code, just like a quiz.
- Put the big screen up, let everyone join, then press Start.

Play the games
- You will see the games board: Bingo and every mini-game as a big tile.
- Tap a mini-game and its rules come up on every phone. Everyone is put in, or paired up for a head to head.
- Press GO. When it is over, press Back to the games and pick the next one.
- Tap Bingo for a game of Bingo - see How to run Bingo.
No siren between games on a games night - the big screen just says what is next.
Tonight's table
- Each game gives 3 points for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. Nobody scores for coming last.
- Each Bingo prize is worth 3 points.
- A game only counts when everyone played it, so nobody gets extra chances.
- The leaderboard and the final podium use the table, with your 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes beside the winners.
