How to book nights with the API
Everything Host on your site does, your own system can do too. API keys come with Quiz Master.
Get a key
- Sign in, open For developers and make an API key. Keep it secret: it can book nights for your account.
- Send it on every request as a header: Authorization: Bearer followed by your key.
Book a night
- POST /api/v1/nights with: kind (quiz, games, bingo or bingo_games), starts_at, and for a quiz night quiz_id.
- Optional: title, doors_minutes (how long before the start the doors open), prizes (up to three, 1st first), free_to_play, auto_host and auto_pace for a quiz night.
- GET /api/v1/nights lists what is booked. POST /api/v1/nights/{id}/open opens the doors early. DELETE /api/v1/nights/{id} cancels one that has not opened.
