How to play mini-games
18 mini-games: Ten Seconds, Green Light, Hold Your Nerve, Pass the Bomb, Tug of War, Buzzers, Bullseye, Colour Clash, Quick Maths, Tap Frenzy, Higher or Lower, Word Scramble, Emoji Decode, Memory Match, Closest Wins, Rock Paper Scissors, Spot the Ball and Doodle Duel.
In the middle of a quiz
- In the host panel, press + Challenge and pick a game.
- Pick Whole room or Head to head, then press Line it up. The rules come up on every phone.
- Everyone is put in, or paired up - with a three when the numbers are odd.
- Press GO. When it is over, press Back to the quiz.
- In a head to head, Next match plays the next pair straight away.
Planning ahead? When you build a quiz, each gap between rounds has its own Mini-game picker.
Games with their own rules
- Buzzers is for in-person nights: the players stand at the front and you ask the questions out loud. Online, it has push-to-talk (beta).
- Doodle Duel (beta) is for online nights only: the drawer gets a secret word and 30 seconds to draw it, with a finger or a mouse, while the others guess.
- Auto host runs every game except Buzzers on its own.
